Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-Rera) has warned promoter real estate to violating the rule of the ra.
It warns the public towards a striking purchase agreement with the real estate project that has not been registered in Rera.
Chairman of the K-Rera P H Kurian, in a statement on Tuesday, said the public must be aware of the real estate promoter who tried to sell villas, flats, plots and commercial places that were not registered.
According to Murian, the authority has recorded project advertising and unregistered notifications have been issued for promoters.
“Before the ink agreement with the real estate promoter, the public must visit the web portal rera.kerala.gov.in to ensure that the project in question and details are registered with the Rera,” he said.
The rules insist that the Rera registration number must be displayed in the advertisement and brochure of the real estate project.
“Agents and brokers do not have the right to sell property before getting the Rera permission.
Those who publish ads or strike agreements that violate the obligatory rules will invite a fine of RS 10,000 per day.
Punishment can increase up to 5% of the total project costs,” said the statement.
