Dubai: Qatar Ambassador to Afghanistan said the technical team could reopen the Kabul airport to receive assistance and that it would be prepared for Immediate Civil Flights, Al Jazeera reported on Saturday.
The runway at Kabul Airport has been repaired in collaboration with the authorities in Afghanistan, the Ambassador said, according to Al Jazeera.
Qatar news channel also said two domestic flights were operated from Kabul to the city of Mazar-i-Sharif and Kandahar.
