Amritsar: a group of 15-17 unknown people illuminated to Gurdwara Karte Parwan in the capital of Afghanistan Kabul in the daytime on Tuesday, searching the holy structure, the guard tetered and left after breaking the CCTV camera there.
President Gurdwara Karte Parwan Gurnam Singh told Ti by telephone from Kabul on Tuesday that the group illuminated Gurdwara at around 3:00 p.m.
“They tied the guards and demanded to hand over their vehicles, but then they left after some time, not before breaking CCTV cameras,” he said.
While denying that anyone in Gurdwara knew them, Singh said there were around six to eight Sikh there at the time of the incident.
Complaints have been submitted with the police station number 4.
“We have demanded justice from the Taliban regime.
Two police teams have visited Gurdwara and take stock of the situation,” said Singh, added that Talibani’s police tried to recover the recording of a broken CCTV camera.
In the past, representatives of Talibani have visited Gurdwara Karte Parwan twice and has assured the Sikh minority safety community.
They also share their contact numbers if an emergency occurs.
The source said that it was not clear whether the people who forced their entry to Gurdwara came from the Taliban or thief rival group.
