Thane: Kalyan Twin City and Dombivli in Maharashtra Regency recorded 87 new Coronavirus cases on Friday.
According to the latest data provided by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), only one person gave up on the virus within the limits of the civic body in the last 24 hours.
Of the 87 cases, 46 cases reported from Dombivli (East), followed by 21 from Kalyan (West).
Kalyan (east) and dombivli (west) each see seven new cases.
Three people were tested positive in the Manda Titwala area, two in Mohna and one in Pisavli.
Also, as many as 92 patients recovered from Covid-19 in Kalyan and Dombivli on Friday.
With that, the total number of recovery in cities has risen to 1.34.230.
At present, 1,206 people undergo treatment for infections in the region, KDMC said.
There was no vaccination on Saturday, KDMC told that drive vaccination in the region would remain suspended on Saturday, because of the unavailability of sufficient doses.
With this, it will be the third time this week that there will be no inoculation in twin cities.
