Kalyan: In a two-day range, Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has collected more than Rs 1 Lakh in a fine of the company and shops to overcome Covid-19 rules.
The action was taken by the citizenship staff after the KDMC Commissioner Dr.
Vijay Suryawanshi recently directed shops, hotels, bars, restaurants and other companies that violated Covid-19 rules to comply with the norms issued by the Civic body.
Civil heads also instructed all ward officers to take action against those who violated the norm.
Ward officers restored a fine of around Rs 1,03,000 from various shops and companies.
The maximum fine of RS 45,000 was collected by F Ward Patil Bharat officers.
He also sealed two shops.
I Ward Officer Deepak Shinde restored the fine of the hospital.

Earlier this week, KDMC had sealed six stores to Fluting Covid-19 Norma.
KDMC has appealed to shop owners and citizens to strictly follow the rules of Covid-19 to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the city area.
