Thane: After witnessing a slowdown in the new Covid-19 case, the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) region reported more than 100 new cases on Wednesday.
As many as 106 people were tested positively in the last 24 hours against 58 on Tuesday in twin cities, taking the overall case for 1,34,850.
During the day, 83 people were also dismissed.
Also, one person gave up on a virus on Wednesday.
At present, 979 patients underwent treatment within the KDMC limit.
Among new cases, Kalyan East saw 24 cases, Kalyan West 32 cases, East 21 Dombivli cases, and Dombivli West 17 cases.
Mohane area reported seven cases.
Five people were tested positively in the Manda-Titwala region.
Meanwhile, vaccination on Thursday will not occur in Kalyan and Dombivli because the Civic body has not received a new dose of stock from the state government.
