Tente: In an effort to encourage the appropriate Covid-19 behavior in twin cities, Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) on Thursday sealed several stores in the area found violating government orders.
A total of six stores on Jalan Malanggad were sealed by Deepep Shinde, Ward Officer of the I Ward of KDMC.
Most of them are clothing stores, which are found do not obey the limits of the Civic Agency.
Shinde was accompanied by the staff of the Department of Civic’s body encroachment and police personnel.
They restored fine with Rs 5000 tones from the shop owner and warned them against repeating the same mistake.
The action was ordered by the Head of KDMC Vijay Suryawanshi.
Since the last few days, KDMC has fallen hard on those who violate Covid-19 regulations in twin cities.
On Wednesday, more than 10 companies were sealed by officials within the body limit of Civic.
While not important stores will be charged with a fine of RS 5,000, The Civic Body has notified that hotels, restaurants and bars found tiring the rules must pay Rs 10,000 as fine.
