Thane: Hospital in Kalyan, who was allegedly involved in power theft after its supply was interrupted earlier for the recovery of the Bill of RS 9 Lakh, has been directed by the state electricity distribution company Maharashtra (MSEDCL) to clean up contributions that are now installed to more than Rs 14 Lakh , an official said on Wednesday.
MSEDCL Kalyan Zone Pro said the hospital located in Kalyan (East) was spoiled in theft of power with a tone of RS 3.58 lakh and the total contribution was now installed to more than 14 lakh.
The hospital has been served with a notification to make exceptional bill payments and 1.45 lakh RS penalty, failed criminal cases will be registered, MSEDCL said.
After his power was cut off, the hospital installed a generator and knocked illegally from other sources, the pro added.
