Thane: Kalyan BJP Mla Ganpat Gaikwad’s Son Pranav Gaikwad was recently cheated more than Rs 39 lakh by a worker from his own company.
The incident was revealed when Pranaav registered a complaint at the Kolsebadi police station regarding fraud.
According to his complaint, the defendant Ashish Kumar Choudhary worked as a software developer at the Pranaav company micronet company.
Choudhary has thrown the idea to Pranav that they must create educational material in their company and sell it to the institution.
He said that it would be beneficial for schools and colleges because the class was online because of a pandemic and it would also produce a good amount of profit.
Pranaav, who liked the idea, nodded, was not aware of Choudhary’s intention.
From October 2020 to December 2020, the defendant took a total RS 39.20 Lakh Pranav on the grounds of building a software program.
He also said that the Dy Patil Institute and Jalgaon University were ready to buy software and even show fake emails and documents to Pranav about the same thing.
However, as soon as Choudhary disappeared with the entire amount.
Growing suspicious, Pranaav examined the documents submitted to him by the defendant, only to find out that they had been forged.
He then approached the police, who has now launched an investigation into this case.
Hunting to find the existence of Choudhary and arrest him ongoing, officials get information.
