Lucknow: The award-winning TV journalist Kamal Khan, who died of a heart attack at his home on Friday, was a true representative of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb Awadh.
Known because of its different shipping styles and wrapping news reports with Couplets, Khan has received a prestigious Ramnath Goenka award in 2010 and the Ganesh Shanker Vidyarthi award from the President.
People from all walks of life, including politicians, journalists, social activists, doctors and academics, were taken to social media to lament his sudden death.
Khan, 61, survived his wife Ruchi Kumar, was also a senior journalist, and a secure son.
