New Delhi: Congress leader and former Chief of Minister Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath on Thursday met the President of Congress Sonia Gandhi amid speculation in the future in the party.
The name Nath is conducting a round for a larger role in the changed Congress organization.
Nath has become a party veteran and shared good relationships with senior party leaders including part of the group of 23 leaders who have written to the Head of Congress who are looking for organizational improvement.
The former meeting of the minister’s chairman also came ahead of the Monsoon Parliament session.
Nath shared good relations with leaders of several opposition parties.
Nath recently met Sharad Pawar at his Delhi residence, after the Head of the NCP met with several opposition leaders in the midst of talks about the formation of BJP opponents greater against BJP.
