The actress Kangana Ranaut took the stage and won all the attention during a press conference for the upcoming film ‘Thalavii’ in the capital on Thursday.
Kangana signaled she could even take a plunge in politics later, just like the protagonist of her latest film.
Kangana was accompanied by Vishnu Vardhan Induri filmmaker.
The actress looked glamorous in traditional silk saree.
Kangana started the press conference said his voice was rather low because he did not fit well.
“My voice is a little down because it’s rather cold, it’s not covid but we are here and I appreciate the turn out,” he laughed when he answered the question.
Kangana, who has vocal on a number of problems related to national interests, was asked whether this film would help him in any way in entering politics because he had now touched the south.
He said: “This film may not be released in Hindi in Multiplex and Multiplexe always tries to bully the manufacturer.
And they are the same.
I am a nationalist and I speak for the country not because I am a politician but as responsibility.
Citizens.
And so far Entering politics, I might need a lot of support from the public but now I am happy to be an actress.
But if tomorrow people like me and support me, then surely I will be happy.
”
Kangana, who played the main role of the Minister of Tamil Nadu J.
Jayalalithaa, felt that this film was more about Jayalaithaa’s journey and was never intended to try to change the mindset associated with the dominant society of men.
He said, “In ‘Thalavii’ it is shown that people who think they will never become a politician or will not be able to care for volatile situations, not only become a minister but win the election a number of times.
And his teacher or mentor in politics – Mgr – Always support it.
So, this film shows how confident when men also support for a woman to grow in life.
”
On the question why this film hasn’t made a trigger controversy, he replied: “For this I give all credit to my director, because even the powerful party doesn’t have a problem with the film.”
Kangana is open about how to work in this film change its perception of politics and politicians.
He shared: “I have a very primitive thinking about politics.
Such as these are very lucky people who get so much power.
But after working in this film and doing my thinking research change.
I realize that politics is not at all easy and there are a number of challenges.
“For example, Jaya Maa has temples in Tamil Nadu.
He is worshiped there.
Ias and other officers call it a smart and extraordinary woman.
And he is famous for this among all.
But if he did not face a big controversy, of course .
He does it but still people choose it over and over again.
So, this is the reality I realize after doing this film.
”
In talking about the challenge, he was faced with this film, he said: “Due to weight gain, I have a number of health problems such as back pain and then study Bharakatyam and do that with a heavy body at all not easy.”
On why he considered this film as the best: “Whatever is shown in this film is based on reality.
But there are many things to learn from the main political faces which are political cult numbers.
And do films like this such as brain stirring activities.
You must think a lot while playing a character that handles hundreds of bureaucrats.
So, I learned a lot when doing this film and that’s why I consider it my best film.
