After actress-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa, Kangana Ranaut is all set to play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her upcoming film, ‘Emergency’.
She recently underwent body scanning as she got into the skin of her character.

Kangana shared a video on her Insta-story where she is seen undergoing body scanning as a part of pre-production work for the movie at her production house.
She captioned the video, ‘Body scans for film Emergency, time to get into Madam Prime Minister Indira Gandhiji’s skin.’ Filmmaker Sai Kabir of ‘Revolver Rani’ fame will be directing the film.

In her earlier post, Kangana shared a picture of her prepping for the role and captioned it, ‘Every character is a beautiful beginning of a new journey, today we started the journey of #Emergency #Indira with body, face scans and casts to get the look right.

On the work front, Kangana is currently awaiting the release of her film, ‘Thalaivi’ where she is essaying the role of Jayalalithaa.
Apart from this, she also has ‘Dhaakad’ where she will play Agent Agni.
The film also features Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in key roles.
Kangana also has ‘Tejas’ in her kitty where she will be seen donning the hat of an Air Force Pilot.
