Mumbai: Even when actor Kangana Ranaut appeared before the judge’s court in the case of defamation filed by Javed Akhtar, his lawyer said he had also submitted a case of Bollywood veteran lyrics.
In his complaint, Ranaut accused him of extortion and criminal intimidation, among other charges.
He had alleged that in public disputes with the Co-Star Hrithik Roshan, Akhtar called his sister and he went to his house in Juhu and threatened him and forced him to tender written apologies.
Meanwhile, lawyer Ranana Rizwan Siddique said he had also transferred a request before the Metropolitan Magistrate head was looking for a transfer of defamation cases from the court which was aired on the grounds that he had “lost faith” in it.
He said they were “uncomfortable” in front of the court and felt it was “biased against him.” The transfer request will appear to hear on October 1.
Ranaut’s request against Akhtar said, “said the accused (Akhtar) even had the courage to force me to examine the written apology to my co-star (Roshan), thus, forcefully tried to make documents (valuable security) that supported the star I.

Ranaut’s request also said that he was threatened with a terrible consequence and was notified by pampering himself in the public battle with “the most powerful play star and his family” he would make his life miserable because he would go to prison and then took his life.
He also accused his moral character being attacked through a certain statement.
“The defendant through the actions of his crime intentionally caused me a very large mental torment and trauma that still continued to have a disturbing effect on my mind,” said the request.
He said, instead of apologizing, the case of defamation was proposed against him.
“I stated that my family has now allowed me to continue with this complaint against the defendant,” said Ranaut’s request.
Siddique said without giving sufficient causes and without any commandments on records, the court threatened to issue a “arrest warrant”.
Akhtar’s lawyer opposed his submission and stated the transfer petition submitted before SC had been thrown away.
He argued that Ranaut intends to avoid legal processes.
