Bengaluru: Kannada Film Actor Puneet Rajkumar died after suffering a big heart attack on Friday morning.
The 46-year-old actor complained of chest pain in the morning while exercising at his gym.
Around 11:30 a.m., he was taken to a private hospital.
He then shifted to Vikram Hospital, Manipal Hospital unit, because his condition deteriorated.
The Chairman of the Minister of Basavaraj Bommai and the leading actors from Sandalwood rushed to the hospital when news spread that Puneeth, APPU to his fans, struggled for his life.
The hospital said Puneeth was very important and they did everything they could to save him.
Speaking to the media, Dr.
Ranganath Nayak, a senior heart consultant, Vikram Hospital said that Puneph Rajkumar reached the hospital at 11:30 with chest pain.

Punkeeth is the youngest son of the legendary Kannada actor Rajkumar.
