Kannada Dakshina Rates well in the war against Covid-19

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District has improved its position in the list of the worst urban areas published in the latest Covid-19 positive analysis of the Karnataka report.
In accordance with the latest analysis, only one of the 20 worst urban areas of Karnataka are in Dakshina Kannada.
On June 22, six of the 20 worst urban areas in the state were in Dakshina Kannada.
However, in the latest 19-19 coivd analysis of the Karnataka report published on Thursday, only one of the 20 crashed cities in the state in coastal districts.
Only Moodabidri Town found a place in the list of the most devastated cities, in an analysis published by the Covid-19 war room of Karnataka state.
In fact, the Moodbidri Town was added to the list of 20 worst displaced urban areas, because they had reported 46 positive Covid-19 cases in the past week.
However, the amount can be ignored compared to Krishnarajanagar city in Mysuru, where 169 cases are reported in one week.
Similarly, Madikeri City in Kodagu Regency has reported 116 cases in the past week, and has found a place in the list of the worst urban areas.
Dakshina Kannada also fate well when it comes to control the spread of diseases in the villages.
The worst number of villages of Dakshina Kannada reduced from 10 to five in the list of the top 20 rural areas achieved the worst disease, according to the latest Covid-19 positive analysis of Karnataka.
Dr Ashok H, Dakshina Kannada District Nodal Officer for Covid-19, told TII that the Ministry of Health led by DHO Dr.

“This district has witnessed a drastic decline in the number of cases with the level of pepositives below 4% at this time.
We have concentrated more on the area bordering Kerala in the district.
We have made supervision in the entry points of the Kasaragod-Dakshina Kannada border.
I together With DHO visited all the main entry points in Mangaluru, Bantwal and Sullia Taluk.
All vehicles are being examined, and the RT-PC test has been done for those who come here from Kasaragod, “he said.
In addition, he said that this district also emphasized the ring supervision, where all the main and secondary contacts from someone who tested the SARS-COV-2 virus was made to undergo a mandatory test.
“All medical health officials have been instructed to monitor strict borders, and also store tabs in areas where positive cases are reported.
