Kanpur: Under the supervision of the District Police Traffic Police, mocking drill from the transfer of the proposed traffic was carried out by Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) in two shifts – from 9-11 in the morning and 7-9 nights at Bada Chauraha Sunday.
At Bada Chauraha between Z Square Mall and DCB Bank, the underground metro station was proposed in the second phase of Metro’s construction work.
When the construction work of the Metro station which will actually be done at Bada Chauraha, the transfer of traffic must be implemented.
To find out how the construction work will be carried out when the transfer will remain apply later, the drill mock is done.
Drill Mock remains successful.
Because of the holidays, there are fewer traffic on the road in the morning shift but at night there are enough vehicles in the area, but there is no problem faced in carrying out the transfer and movement of traffic continues smoothly.
Continue to look at the diversion drill, a total of 24 Marshals (in each shift) was deployed by Metro at Bada Chauraha and side by side.
The right barricading is done and significantly installed.
After drill Mock today, modifications will be made in the transfer plan, if needed according to the direction of the traffic police.
