Kanpur Metro’s work entered a new phase

Kanpur: Kanpur Metro Construction Work entered the new phase on Monday when the ‘Cage’ first diaphragm wall was derived at the Naveen Market Metro Station (UG) (not yet built).
Casting the work of the pre-cast structure for underground tunnels in the newly built casting page for the UG-1 section in the HBTU, it also starts.
This marks the start of the job at the foot of the two phase.
At the foot of one phase one, the Metro train will run on nine kilometers stretch between IIT and Motijheel, works that are almost completed on this stretch.
Managing Director, UPMRC, Kumar Keshav on Monday inaugurated a four-km stretch marked between Chunniganj to Nayiganj under Corridor-1 (IIT to Naubasta).
Bhumi Pujan was carried out at the Naveen market location.
Some UPMRC empolis are present at the place.
Four Metro UG stations must be built under this section (between Chunniganj and Nayaganj).
Senior Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation official and Gulemak-Sam India contractor were also present during the event.
While on the stretch of nine kilometers, the metro will run at the high station, between Chunniganj and Nayaganj (stretch four kilometers), the metro will run underground.
Thus, the metro station will be built underground.
The first wall diaphragm from the Naveen market metro station proposed to be reduced to a depth of about 22 meters by means of a sophisticated crane.
The diaphragm wall can be understood as a metro station limit.
Before the construction of an underground metro station, the wall was built as a security cage around it.
D-Wall consists of a small rectangular panel measuring about 5 meters and around 800 millimeters (mm) wide.
About one hundred panels like it are used to prepare D-Wall from the UG Metro station, 105 panels will be used in the construction of the Naveen Metro Market station.
For the underground section – I, a special casting page has been set at HBTU, where the ring will be thrown into an underground tunnel.
Kumar Keshav also inaugurated the casting process from the first ring through the machine.
This ring will consist of six small segments, has a total diameter of about 6 meters.
The disbursed ring on this page will support the tunnel during tunneling work by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM).
Expressing happiness and satisfaction on this occasion, UPMRC MD, Kumar Keshav said, “Kanpur Metro moves towards a new chapter with the start of construction work in the Naveen market.
Is my strong belief that our team will be able to work with the same speed and dedication as they show During the construction of ‘priority corridors’ (between IIT and Motijheel) and will be able to carry out construction work this section in the specified time frame.
The new casting page has also been set for the underground part – I am at HBTU, which is equipped with machines and advanced facilities.
“He also gave a briefing about the upcoming tunneling work, which will be executed in the near future, through Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM).
Under the bottom of the 1st, there will be a construction of four metro stations, namely, Chunniganj, Naveen Market, Bada Chauraha and Nayaganj.
Of these four metro stations, the first three will have a length of 215 meters and a width of 23 MTs while the Nayaaganj Metro Station will be 225 meters long and 22.3 meters wide.
Meanwhile, the transfer of traffic has fallen on a crossing parade where the Naveen Market is located and at Bada Chaurahana where the mall is prominent.
