Kanpur: People suggest not to visit Ganga Ghats because the water level rises

Kanpur: Kanpur Administration has advised people not to go near Ganga Ghats because the river water surface witnessed a continuous increase due to heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand.
“Because of the rain in Uttarakhand, the water level in Ghats has risen.
We told people not to approach the Ghats stairs, it is possible that the water level can rise further,” said Arpita Singh, Ghat Supervisor.
In the midst of heavy rain, the state of Uttarakhand had witnessed floods, landslides, and overflowing rivers made people stranded in various places.
Toll Death Because the incident related to rain in Uttarakhand has increased 72 and four people are still missing, the Uttarakhand government said on Sunday.
Rain also leads to homes that collapse and expenditure which causes large-scale destruction and loss of life and property in the state.
