Kanpur: With three new cases of the Zika virus reported in Kanpur on Wednesday, the calculation of the case of mosquito default infections in the district has risen to 109.
One case of the Zika virus was reported from neighboring Kannauj on Saturday.

Nepal Singh said that until Wednesday, Zika’s case has increased to 108.
Of these, 17 has been declared negative after treatment.
At present there are a total of 91 active cases.

“Nearly 100 teams have conducted a detailed survey in a circle of three km.
Where samples from 182 people including pregnant women suffering from fever or with symptoms of infection are collected.
Until now, a total of 4,142 samples of these people have gained for testing,” CMO said Furthermore.
He said, “Massive exercise for source reduction is also carried out, where 4,298 houses are scanned for mosquito breeding points.
