Kanpur: After a five-year gap, Green Iconic Park is ready to watch an international test match between India and New Zealand from November 25 to November 29.
Given the same thing and many future matches have provided sanctions for galleries and pavilion projects at the old Pavilion director.
A project around RS 5 Crore has been subject to sanctions for the Gallery of Visitor and Rs 75 Lakh to install elevators in the press / media pavilion.
HBTU has been appointed as a technical consultant for the project.
On Tuesday, Division Commissioner Raj Shekhar visited the stadium to see the site and modality of the elevator settings in the Media / Press Gallery.
Tim Hturu also visited the site with Commissioner of the City, Deputy Director of Sports, representatives of the UPCA and smart city officials.
“It usually takes 3-4 months to install the elevator.
But considering the proposed match to play in November, I have asked City City CEO and deputy sporting director to see if it can be resolved in the next two months,” Commissioner said.
The Gallery / Pavilion project will also be completed in the next 4-5 months, he added.
