Kanpur: The police with the help of the State Disaster Response Personnel (SDRF) managed to lure the body of a five-year-old girl, who had sunk in the Armapur Channel in the Paski City area on Tuesday.
His uncle too, who tried to save him.
has sunk on the canal.
The SDRF personnel and the Pkalki police team fished the girl’s body was almost 4 km of the distance from the place where he was sinking.
However, the team was still looking for a lost girl’s uncle.
An official statement issued on the Twitter strip of the Comperi Police said that after one Narendra (26) and his nephew Ayushi (5) sank on Tuesday, the search operation was launched, but it didn’t work.
Search operations continued on Wednesday again and SDRF personnel and police managed to lure the body of the girl in the Armapur canal in Govavnagar, however, his uncle Narendra was not found.
The statement added that they would continue the search on Thursday and then decided the next step.
So far, they have covered a big stretch to find the girl’s uncle.
To remember, Narendra, a driver of e -Crickshaw, and residents of Raniganj Locations, along with his nephew were taking place somewhere in his e-rickshaw on Tuesday.
That’s when they reached near the Armapur Channel, Arushi lost balance and fell into the canal.
His uncle to save him too jumped into the canal.
Both then sank in the deep waters of the canal.
