Kanpur: The police on Wednesday said that the defendant in the case of the Gulmohar Apartment where a teenage girl who worked as a Pratek Vaish dairy secretary, died after falling from the 10th floor of the apartment, had recognized his crime.
In communiques issued by the committee of the city police, it was stated, “Prateek Vaish has recognized his crime, where he said that to get physical with him, first he tried to lure PA with money, but when he refused, he rejected him, he forced him to relax and Then pushed it to death from the 10th floor balcony.
The main cause of death was an injury throughout his body, “The charge sheet in this case will soon be submitted, said a police officer further.
The police have arrested the defendant and further investigation into progress.
Retired Marketing Manager Parag, his wife Durga Vaish and their son Prateek Vaish lived in Flat Number 1104 from the 11th floor of Gulmohar Apartments at Indira Nagar.
Prateek was allegedly bringing his personal assistant to flat on the pretext of work related to office around 4:30 a.m.
on Tuesday.
“But he fell from the flat balcony at around 6pm under mysterious state and gave up on injury later,” ACP added.
Hearing the girl’s shout, residents of the apartment, and the locals collected and told Kalyanpur police.
During the investigation, the sign of the struggle was found in the girl’s body, the police source said.
“The hat is also found torn,” added the source.
The girl, who rushed to the place, told investigators that three days ago her daughter joined the personal assistant owner of Pratek Vaish’s milk.
West ADCP Brijesh Srivastava rushed to place and oversaw investigations.
The police then sent the body to the corpse.
After registering a complaint of family members, the defendant was arrested afterwards he acknowledged his crime.
Police said that it also discussed him a few moments before the incident, the girl called some of his friends from his cellphone.
“He might call his friend for help.
Now, the investigator issued a CDR (record detail call) from the cellphone so that the identity of the person he negligently pronounced was confirmed,” the police said.
When the police asked about this, the defendant said that the girl jumped from the balcony after talking to some young men on the phone.
