Mumbai: The Special CBI Court in Mumbai on Saturday denied guarantees to his wife and two fountainous daughters, Kapoor shutter in the case of quid-pro-quo which involves the private sector lender and sent it to 14-day trial detention.
The wife of Kapoor Bindu and Daughter Radhan Khanna and Roshini have been crowned the defendant in the Charge Sheets submitted by the Probe agent in this case, and the court, after consuming somehow from the trio, had called the trio.
The three appeared in court and filed guarantees through their legal team consisting of Vijay Agarwal and Rahul Agarwal, who argued that the accusation sheet was submitted without Bindu, Radha and Roshni were arrested, and, therefore, according to the Supreme Court’s assessment, they deserve it for guarantees.
Vijay Agarwal further argues that the court has carried out the policy of publishing calls to its clients, which clearly shows that there is no need for their arrest.
However, the Special Judge Su Wadgaonkar rejected their guarantee application and sent him to detention until September 23.
After the prosecution submitted that the prison supervisor would not receive the defendant’s detainees without the RPCR report, the court allowed the probe agent to be stored by his three in the rights of justice until it was received.
In accordance with the Central Investigation Bureau, Kapoor, who was in prison in a related case examined by the enforcement directorate, held a criminal conspiracy with Kapil Wadhawan DHFL.
The CBI has stated that between April and June 2018, the Bank invested Rs 3,700 Crore in short-term debt from the Housing Finance Corporation Ltd.
(DHFL) Board.
In return, DHFL’s Wadhawan was allegedly “attacking the kickback RS 600 Crore” to Kapoor in the form of a loan to conduct Urban Ventures, a company controlled by Kapoor’s wife and daughter.
