Karnataka: 1,365 COVID-19 cases; 22 deaths

Bengaluru: Karnataka on Wednesday reported 1,365 new cases of Covid-19 and 22 deaths, took the total infection to 29.33,192 and the death toll became 37,061.
The day also saw 1,558 release, pushing the total recovery amount to 28.74,839.
Bengaluru Urban contributed 327 new cases, because the city saw 318 release and 2 deaths.
Active cases reach 21,266.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.76 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 1.61 percent.
Dakshina Kannada and Mysuru each contributed three deaths, belagavi, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Tumakuru and Udupi (2 each), followed by others.
After Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada contributed the second high of new cases in 268, Mysuru 123 and Hassan 107.
Bengaluru Urban District had a total of 12,33,839 positive cases, followed by MySuru 1,74,890 and Tumaku 4,18,763.
Among the release also, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 12,09,965, followed by MySuru 1.71,519 and Tumakuru 1,16,960.
Cumulatively, 4.13.32,380 samples were tested in the state, where 1,79,016 was tested on Wednesday.
