Karnataka: 4,000 Hindi Tutors Primary school teaches everything except the language

Bengaluru: About 4,000 Hindi teachers appointed in elementary school in all countries teaching other subjects they do not recruit.
The reason: Hindi is not taught as a subject at the state government school from class 1 to 5.
Confirming the fate of the Hindi teacher elementary school, the Hindi School teacher association of the Hindi School of Karnataka government said that many of them have been languishing for 15-20 years in their appointment, where they also tend to retire.
Safe! You have succeeded in voting your Votozin to see a letter to the Minister of Primary and Medium Education BC Nagesh, the association has now demanded that elementary school teachers be allowed to find posts as transfer teachers.
The association’s office carriers told their TOI initially recruited as a teacher assistant for what was later elementary and secondary school and teaching Hindi in grade 6 and 7.
“But we are now in an ironic situation.
Because of the changes in the rules of cadres and recruitment in 2007, we are considered a Hindi teacher in elementary school.
But Hindi is not taught as a subject in class 1 to 5 in Karnataka,” The association has said in his letter.
Because of this, students have lost the opportunity to learn Hindi under the three-language formulas adopted by the state government even though there are 4,000 Hindi teachers in Hindi schools, the letter is read.
The association has shown that the teachers cannot transfer because there are no vacancies throughout the state because such posts do not exist.
“We have taught other subjects because we have completed PU, DED (Diploma in teaching) and TCH (teacher certificates in higher).
But we do not have a transfer in the last 15-20 years.
Some of us retire in the same place Where we were recruited, “said Rama Murthy K, Secretary General of the Association.
These teachers have also cleared the state-level language exam for Hindi which makes them qualify for teaching subjects.
“Should we be in lower elementary schools (grade 1 to 5) or higher elementary schools (grade 6 and 7)? The government is not clear.
In lower elementary school, there are no subjects.
In higher elementary schools , they only recruit only the main teacher of graduate.
The question is where we work? “Regret a teacher.
“We are currently teaching other subjects such as environmental science in the lower class.
Given the sad situation, our direct concern is transferring,” Rama Murthy said.
According to the association, they have raised this problem with the department over the past few years, but it didn’t work.
“While we were assigned to teach Hindi, we did not get the opportunity to do it.
At least the change of posts to other subjects will give us a chance with a transfer.
In addition, the state must see introducing Hindi as a subject on the three-language policy lines National, “said a teacher.
