Karnataka: 9,845 mbbs sit down to be contested this year

Bengaluru: Karnataka will have a 9,845 MBBS seat for the academic year 2021-22, an increase of 500 seats from last year.
In accordance with the list of consolidation chairs distributed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, there are 2,200 seats available at universities that are considered, 3,050 in government medical colleges, 650 in private universities and 4,045 in private universities.
Overall, there are 62 institutions where students can choose a seat.
New Government College in Chikkaballapura – Chikkaballater Institute of Medical Sciences – has 100 seats offered.

Pg Girish said the most likely college in Chikkamagaluru will get approval, taking the number of seats to more than 10,000 this time.
“Appeals at new colleges in Yadgir and Haveri are also delayed,” he added.
There was an increase of 500 seats compared to last year.
The insurance company of the medical company employees in Bengaluru and Kalaburagi each added a total of 125 seats and Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath Medical College and Jagadguru, each of which had 150 seats.

Of the total 9,845 seats, as many as 2,520 will be available through the quota counseling throughout India.
The remaining 7,325 will be offered through a counseling process carried out by the Carnataka exam authority.
The National Medical Commission has rejected the approval of four new medical colleges in the state.
If permission is given in time for further rounds, Karnataka will cross the availability of 10,000 seats for the first time.
