New Delhi: The Government of Karnataka on Sunday further loosens covid sidewalks and allows an open cinema.
The state government has also reduced duration at night at one hour since July 19.
The decision for this effect was taken at a meeting that was locked up by the Head of Minister B y Yediyurappa with senior ministers and officials at his residence in Bengaluru.
This is what you need to know: * The film cinema will be allowed to operate with 50 percent of residence after compliance with the Covid-19 protocol.
* Higher educational institutions such as colleges and universities are also given a nod to start from July 26.
* Only those who have taken at least one vaccine dose will be allowed to attend their duties and classes.
* Previously, the night hours were valid from 9pm to 5pm.
Now hours at night will remain from 10pm to 5 pm.
* The government has imposed restrictions since April 27 and was made strictly from May 10 as Covid-19 calculations every day exceeding 50,000 cases on May 5, while the active case of more than six lakh on May 15.
* The government relaxes the norms after the Covid case falls substantially.
* The country reported 1,869 fresh infections, 42 deaths and 30,082 cases were active on Saturday.
