Karnataka: BMTC staff are held to sell marijuana

Bengaluru: Three people, including two BMTC employees were arrested recently, and 11kg of marijuana recovered from them.
Police said 9.8 kg of marijuana recovered from Vithal Bhajantri, a BMTC-cum-cum-driver driver, and Sharappa, a BMTC depot staff.
Both are residents of cengeri.
Kengeri police hold back marijuana consumers recently and based on the information provided by him, capturing the duo.
They claimed to have bought drugs from travelers around Vijayapura and Kalaburagi and smuggled them to Bengaluru.
The police said both were involved in the racket peddling drugs for the past two years.
In other cases, one mujeeb nabbed and 1,300 grams of marijuana were confiscated from him.
