Bengaluru: More than 95 percent of the registered candidates appear for the General Entering Test of Karnataka (CET) – 2021 on Sunday, the second day of the exam.
According to the data distributed by the State Minister of Higher Education Dr.
CN Ashawath Narayan, of 2,01,834 registered candidates for CE-2021, 1,93,588 (95.91 percent) candidates appear for physics and 1.93.88 percent (95.88 percent) Candidates appear for chemistry.
Narayan added that this included 12 Positive Covid-19 students who appeared for both papers and write checks in each covid treatment center facilitated for them.

The Minister informed that the examination was held in 530 locations throughout the country in a troublesome way to follow the Covid-19 protocol.
Meanwhile, according to the CET-2021 period schedule, the Kannada language test for Kannadiga Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates will be held on August 30 in Bidar, Batalariavi, Ballary, Vijayapura, Mangalore, and Bengaluru.
A total of 1682 candidates have been registered to take this test.
