New Delhi: Head of the Karnataka Minister BS Yediyurappa today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, has flown down from Bengaluru with special rented flight.
The meeting came in the midst of a buzz of cabinet expansion in the southern state and also reports the dissent of the leadership of Yediyurappa.
The minister’s chairman was noting a plan to discuss the composition of the cabinet with the Prime Minister.
The Delhi visit was to meet PM and other ministers, and to discuss the development and irrigation projects that were delayed in the state, he said on Thursday.
“I don’t know anything about leadership changes.
During my discussion with PM Modi, I asked him to allow the development work in the state,” said Yediyurappa to Newsmen with PM.
The problem of leadership in Karnataka has raised time and again in the past, even though BJP has played this problem.
Yediyurappa himself said it was up to the central leadership to receive a telephone.
