Bengaluru: Degree, PG, Engineering, and Polytechnic will be reopened for classes on campus from Monday.
Students who have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine meet the requirements to attend.
Students also have to submit approval letters – in the format specified – signed by their parents.
The standard operating procedure (SOP) has been issued for institutions and they have been directed to obey it, CN Ashwath Narayan, Higher Education Minister, said.

“During the class, the physical distance between two people must always be maintained, including when students enter or leave,” Narayan said.
“Institutions must take into account the number of students and classrooms available and therefore make arrangements to maintain physical distances.”
The minister, however, clarified that students who did not want to attend the physical class can continue to attend online classes.
He said the contact class would be done to ensure their doubts, if any, overcome.
About 74% of students over 18 years have been vaccinated and the rest will be trapped soon, he said.
