Karnataka: Congress leader asks students to focus on education

Mangaluru: The Congress of the Youth of the National Spokesman Suraiyya Anjum has urged students to focus on education when on campus and not on issues such as the hijab, saffron shawl and turban.
“I am a Muslim.
I celebrate Eid al-Fitr, wearing a hijab proudly, and offers Namah five times a day, but all of this is limited to my house.
When I stepped out, I was an Indian who was proud,” he said.
This is not just about the hijab.
It’s also about students who come wearing a turmeric scarf and turban.
The clock’s need for students is to focus on education, Anjum said.
“We have lost almost two years of offline classes due to Covid-19 pandemic, and we are unable to lose more class hours.
Uniformity in the classroom is very important and we must comply with the rules and regulations set by school / college administration.
Students And parents must understand that these efforts were carried out by RSS, PFI and SDPI to politicize non-political problems.
Wearing a hijab is part of a culture and we must respect and obey the court and obey the constitution, “he said.
Referring to the girls who protested the PU College government for girls in Udupi, he said, “Because the incident was reported from college girls, we wondered why the students objected to release the hijab class and attend.
They have the freedom of wearing Hijab when on campus.
Students must be clear to their priorities and prevent people from being polarized.
Also, if students, especially about Islamic education, they must pursue it, “he added.
