Karwar: Police police attached to the Armed District (DAR) in Karwar committed suicide in the office on Wednesday.
Guruprasad rose, 35, who worked as a coach Dar came to the office early on Wednesday and committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling.
The incident was revealed when the clerical staff arrived at 10 am.
It was said that up returned the money he had borrowed from his colleagues on Wednesday morning before taking extreme steps.
According to his colleagues, he might have planned ahead to end his life and it could be the reason why he cleaned the debt.
Guruprasad is a good and upright sportsman in his job, they added.
The reason for sure to kill himself is unknown.
He survived his wife and two children.
The case has been registered.
