Karnataka: Dengue case on an increase in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: The rain in the middle of the pandemic has triggered a sudden wave in dengue cases in Kalaburagi, worried about the health department official.
More than 100 cases of dengue fever are registered in the district since January.
Of these, 35 cases were recorded in July only.
In August (until Tuesday), 12 cases of dengue fever were recorded in this district.

Kalaburagi Health District and Family Welfare Officer Sharanaabasappa Gajalkhed told toi that dengue fever patients were given free care at a government hospital in this district.
“Those who have symptoms of dengue fever must approach government hospitals for free testing and care,” he added.

The normal platelet count in the body ranges from 18.
