Karnataka: Duo Mothers of SSLC Examination Aces Sakleshpur together

A duo’s sons from Sakleshpur in Hassan district has made history by appearing and cleaning together the SSLC certificate exam (SSLC), which was held by the Secondary Education Examination Agency Karnataka.
While CN Theerther scored 235, his son Br Hemanth got 562.
They were from Lakshmipura Village, about 10 km from the Taluk Center, and appeared for the shared exam.
Theerther registered as a personal candidate and prepared for the exam with his son referring to his note.
Theerther has joined a private high school in Ballupet while his son Hemanth was studying at Sri Malleshwara (assisted) in Valalalli.
This is the second year in a row he decided to take the exam.
Theertha has stopped his studies after class 8.
Her husband Rajendra is a farmer and they have a 4 year old daughter.
His father-in-law remained with them.
“I am always interested in the study, but the poor economic conditions of our family stopped me to pursue further.
But this time, my husband, father-in-law and villagers – all supported when they knew I appeared for the SSLC exam this time,” Theerther said .
“My child was taught all subjects at school and he used to teach me the same thing at home.
I call the material and school records.
My child supports me a lot,” he said.
“The thought of taking the SSLC exam came when I decided to become an Asha worker.
Previously, those who had completed higher basic education were eligible to post, but when the SSLC was made mandatory, I decided to remove the exam.
Even though I tried to clean it last year, I failed.
But this time I succeeded, “Theerther said.
