Hubballi: While many organizations and individuals are busy contributing rations kits and other relief materials to those in need, two sisters from the city feeding rice, biscuits and bread up to more than 200 wild dogs during locking.
At the night, the sisters – Ritika Chutke and Shreya Chutke, each student pursued BCOM and class 10 – took their two-wheeled wheels loaded with food to feed on Keshwapur, Desai Cross and Shanti Nagar.
Ritika said that wild dogs rely on the remaining food from hotels / restaurants and mobile restaurants.
“I was moved to see 2-3 starvation dogs in the third week of April.
So we started feeding as little as possible,” he said.
Shreya added that they started on April 24 using their pocket money.
“Initially, we bought biscuits for Rs 200, but realized it was not enough.
When we discussed this with our parents, they offered to support us,” he added.
Their mother Sarika prepared a curious rice using 3.5kg rice and 3 liters of curd every day, while entrepreneurs – their Rakesh Chutke’s father bears the cost of buying bread and biscuits.
Sisters, who said they had loved dogs since their childhood, had Labrador at home.
“This is our first time breastfeeding.
Some of them prefer biscuits or bread for rice,” he added.
