Karnataka: Free Stationery Shop Fun Children in Raichur

Raichur: Moved by the fate of poor parents who struggled to buy basic stationery items for their children, an engineer who worked to establish a shop that offered free equipment at Gajggarpet, Raichur, last month.

Rangaro Desai worked at Bosch, Bengaluru, and recently returned from Brazil.

Under Banner ‘Sri Raghavendra Akshara Yagna’, Desai provides books, pens, pencils, crayons, sharpeners, erasers, and free geometry boxes for each child who walk to the store.
Desai is part of the ‘Rang De’ organization, which is associated with the ‘V4U’ team that supplies food to Covid-19 patients and their families in Raichur Regency.
He spent Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 every month to buy material for the store.
“About 50 children visit it every day and take what they need.
I display a large number of each item.
For example, I only provide 40 books every day to ensure the distribution even among all children who need it.

He said that when trying to help Covid-19 patients, he realized the need to support children who struggled to continue their education.
“Many cannot learn due to financial constraints.
A little help from our side can encourage them,” Desai added.
After consultation, the desire prepared a list of all stationery needed and started buying it in large quantities.
He cleaned his warehouse, redecorating with a cartoon and set up a free store in it.
“My friend and colleague supported me in this effort now.
They have sent geometry boxes, books, pens, and other things, he said.
