Haveri: The pair of farmers, whose son died of suicide on November 14, filed a complaint of the police who accused his girlfriend and his family faced his death.
Nagaraj UPPAR, 24, from Chikkabudihal Village in Hirekeruru Taluk, ended his life by consuming pesticides.
After his death, the police submitted an unnatural death report.
Quoting his son’s chat on WhatsApp, Renukavva UPPAR claimed on November 20 he had entered the suicide pact with his girlfriend.
Renukavva claims that the 20-year-old Nagaraj and his girlfriend, also a resident of Chikkabudihal Village, plans to die because of suicide in their homes.
Nagaraj’s parents accused that was a boyfriend who suggested that lovers take poison, after his family knew about their relationship and opposed it.
“Nagaraj continued the plan, but pushpanjali did not,” they accused.
Forensic Report Waiting for Police Spinning Hanumantara Han confirmed the receipt of complaints.
“The HamsaBavi investigative officer investigates this problem.
Forensic laboratory is examining evidence,” he said.
Renukavva said he and her husband was originally under the impression that their son died of suicide.
“But this is not suicide.
This amounts to murder by boyfriend and his parents.
We need justice,” he told the police.
Further investigation is taking place.
