Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has issued a notification to former BS Yediyurappa and others, including his son B y Vijayendra, who is the Vice President of the BJP State Unit, to emerge before on August 17 in a case of accusing corruption in a housing project.
Notification was issued on the petition by activist T J Abraham who was looking for a set of civilian judges and additional city sessions, who had rejected their requests for the desire of sanctions from competent authorities to Yediyurappa, former minister and former Somashekar minister.
Challenging dismissal, Abraham has transferred the High Court, which serves notification to Yediyurappa and others.
“You hereby be directed to appear in front of this court directly or by the applicant instructed on August 17 at 10:30 a.m.
to show the cause of the petition that failed where the petition would be heard and determined ex-parte,” the court notices published said Tuesday.
Abraham accused Yedyurappa and others, including sons and relatives, received kickback from a contractor to restart a housing project that was mandired from the Bangalore Development Authority.
Congress has also raised this problem in the Karnataka Majelis while it moved no trust movement in 2020.
Yediyurappa and his son rejected the allegations, said there was no truth on charges.
