Mysuru: Bathing Ghat in Nanjangud sank in the flood water of the Kapila River on Saturday morning after 30,000 cusecs of water released from Kabini Dam in HD Kote.
According to the authorities, if the current outflow of the dam increases to 50,000 cusecs, Kabini Hilir can face the flood situation.
Inflow to the Kabini Dam is 26,100 cusecs at 6 am on Saturday.
This increased to 28,060 cusecs at 9am.
About 30,000 cusec water is now released into the river of the dam.
Meanwhile, there has been no rain in Mysuru City since Friday night.
