Mangaluru: Kambala Racer Srinivas Gowda, also known as Usain Bolt of Kambala, has received threatening calls.
Someone called Gowda over the cellphone number, issued a threat, using harsh words and said he would teach the history of Kambala, which was an annual Buffalo race.
The audio clip of a conversation is said to have become a viral on social media.
The caller, introduced himself as Prashanth Bangera owned by caste clothes, asked Gowda to meet him in his office in the city.
The driver stated his inability to meet him there and said they could meet at Moodbidri, 34 km away.
Then, Bangera said: I will come.
But when you come, protect you back and bring your people.
“After this, Gowda submitted a police complaint.
