Bengaluru: Vaccination of students who pursue higher studies began on Monday, said Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar.
“There are 24,37,732 students pursuing higher studies in the state.
We begin their vaccination from today.
We want to vaccinate students to continue the higher education class,” said Sudhakar told reporters here.

We must be extra careful,” Minister said.
According to him, the center has warned the state government to be suddenly locked.

“The Technical Advisory Committee has tried to find out whether the second wave is over.
This question arises because the infection decreases due to locking.
To assess the situation, we will need at least a week,” said Sudhakar.
