Karnataka: Man hacks sister to death over the second marriage

Dharwad: In the terrible incident, a man allegedly hacked his younger sister to death in their homes near Venkateshwar temple in the city of Navalgund on Tuesday.
Police said the defendant, Mangah Sharannappanavar, attacked her sister Shashikala Pathak with deadly weapons, killed her in place.
After the incident, Manganhesh gave up before the police and acknowledged the crime.
Shashikala married a few years ago for a man from Aralikatti in Hubballi Taluk.
Unfortunately, he died, and Shashikala returned to Navalgund and began working as an assistant at Anganwadi.
A few days ago, Shashikala married Ravi Pathak from Navalgund and lived in his house, a lot to disappointly Mangah who opposed their alliance.
On Tuesday, Mangana was reported to break into their homes and threw chili powder on her face before fatal attacked her with deadly weapons.
