Bengaluru: On December 6, more than 130 school children have been tested positive for Covid-19, said the Public Instruction Department (DPI).
The highest number has been reported from Chikkamagalur, where 94 government housing school students are tested positively.
This was attended by seven in Chamarajanagar.
These are children in grade 1, 3 6, 8 and 9.
Eleven children in 8th grade found infected in Kodagu.
Four cases have been reported in Hassan.
The data distributed by DPI showed two cases in Bengaluru North.
Among the basic classes, four children were contracted with infection in Chamrajanagar and each in Dharwad, North Bengaluru and Shivamogga.
