Karnataka: Most people remain indoors despite the restrictions on weekends are appointed

MySuru tourism hub wears a quiet appearance on Saturdays and Sundays, although the government lifts a covid-induced weekend clock in the entire state.
Thousands of Bengalureans made the road to Mysuru on weekends, but they preferred to stay in the room this weekend, even though there were tourist attractions that functioned.
Mysuru Zoo and the Palace saw a relatively low tourist foot point, even though the Chamundi hill saw a larger voter.
The travel and hospitality industry stakeholders claim the number of tourists traveling to the city is close to zero.
As a result, business is also boring.
While KSRTC buses, and public transport services such as autorickshaws plied and open hotels, locals and tourists move away.
The vehicle movement is limited, in such a way that it looks like the curfew is still in its place.
C Narayana Gowda, President, Association of Mysuru District Hotel owners, said that while there were no restrictions on hotels and tourism activities, almost no customers.
“As if the weekend hours have been extended.
People prefer to live in their homes.
For us, it was a very disappointing weekend,” Gowda said.
BS Prashanth, President of MySuru’s travel association, said the number of Covid infections reported from the district would disappoint tourists from visiting the city.
“All activities are boring.
This city looks like a quiet sight,” he said.
Meanwhile, preparation was in a full swing in a private school to reopen for classes on campus from Monday after almost 12 days of closing.
The school remains closed for students from first grade to nine since January 12 after a surge in Covid-19 case.
However, the district administration has allowed school to continue the physical class from Monday.
“All schools plan to be reopened, and the old man waits waiting to send their children back to school,” said Mysuru District Representative from Management related to Primary and Secondary School (KAM).
