Bengaluru: BJP National Secretary General and former Karnataka C T Ravi on Tuesday raised controversy by urging Karnataka to present population control policies, in the Bill lines introduced at Uttar Pradesh.
In a tweet, Ravi said: “Especially Kartnataka brings a new population policy on the lines of Assam and Uttar Pradesh to control the growing population.
With limited natural resources, it will be difficult to meet the needs of every citizen if there is a population explosion.” Ravi Not available for further description of problems raised by it.
However, the Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs Law and Parliament Bommai gave a statement measured when asked about whether the state government had the intention to bring such a bill and said it needed to be discussed and debated.
“The problem of population control is a policy problem at the national level.
There needs to be a discussion and a pledge of being pleased with this problem,” he said.
Meanwhile, the minister’s office said that CM B was Yediyurappa did not even consider such a step.
“There has been no discussion about all types in this matter.
This is a tweet of the National Secretary of the Party and there is no such step it has been considered to date,” said a CMO official.
Reacting to the statement by Ravi, the State Unit of the President of the President D K Shivakumar declined to comment with a little sarcasm.
“C T Ravi is no longer a local leader, he is a national leader.
He has many national problems to be handled.
Let the BJP government table move (population control bills) in assembly and then we can talk about it.
I am a state leader,” Shivakumar said.
The top population control bill has seen many bad comments with our own BJP allies at Bihar – JD (U) and Minister of Nitish Kumar’s Chairperson shows that it is not a practical bill to be taken and said every country is free to start his own actions to control the developing population This country.
In accordance with the above policy, no one with more than two children will be eligible for government work.
