Karnataka reduces foodgrain production Goal

BENGALURU: The Karnataka government has decreased the food production goal from the achieved 153 lakh tonne from 2020-21 into 135 lakh tonne for the calendar year 2021-22.
Citing the prior year’s creation was 10 percent over and over the prior financial of 2019-2020, the government is believed to be putting a”realistic” goal in light of this Covid-19 second tide damaging rural Karnataka significantly.

The meteorological department has suggested the monsoon season will start from June 7 or 6 as many as 20 districts are going to get the estimated rain and a second 10 districts significantly less compared to estimations.
