Karnataka reported 1.213 new Covid cases, 25 deaths

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 1,213 new Covid-19 cases and 25 deaths on Thursday, took the total infection of 29,43,463 and the toll road to 37,231, the health department said on Thursday.
Today also saw 1,206 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 28.86,906.
Bengaluru urban recorded most cases (319), because the city saw 205 release and two deaths.
Active cases in the state reached 19,300.
While the level of participants for that day stood at 0.64 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.06 percent.
Of the 25 deaths, 10 came from Dakshina Kannada, Mysore contributed three, Bengalore Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Dharwad and Udupi respectively, followed by others.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 319, Dakshina Kannada 269, Udupi 113, Mysuru 98, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District topped a list of positive cases, with a total of 12,36,229, followed by Mysuru 1.75,639 and Tumaku 4,19,084.
Among the release also, Bengaluru Urban was above 12.12.910, followed by Mysuru 1.72,235 and Tumaku 1.17.297.
Cumulatively total 4.26.45,456 the sample was tested in a state so far, where 1,87,187 was carried out on Thursday.
