Karnataka reported 1,338 new Covid cases

Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 1,338 new Covid-19 cases and 31 deaths, taking the total infection of 29,21,049 and the death toll became 36,848, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.
That day also saw 1,947 release, took the total number of recovery in the state as far as 28.61,499.
Of the 1,338 new cases reported on Tuesday, 315 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 492 releases and 3 deaths.
The total number of active cases in the state reached 22,676.
While the level of participation for that day reached 1.05 percent, the case fatality rate (CFR) was 2.31%.
Of the 31 deaths reported on Tuesday, eight came from Dakshina Kannada followed by Uttara Kannada (4), Bengaluru Urban and Hassan (3), Kolar and Mysore (2), followed by others.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Dakshina Kannada contributed 378, followed by Bengaluru Urban (315), Chikkamagaluru (93), Udupi (92) and others.
Bengaluru’s urban district overcomes a positive case list, with a total of 12,31,097, followed by MySuru 1,74,081 and Tumakuru 1,18,343.
Among the disposal too, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 12,06,980, followed by Mysuru 1,70,545 and Tumakuru 1,16,415.
Cumulatively, a total of 4.01.04.915 samples were tested in a state so far, where 1,26,400 was tested on Tuesday.
